A coastal view from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path

Dawn Chorus Walk

20 May 2014

digwyddiad cerdded

Spring birdsong is at its best soon after dawn - birds sing before breakfast to re-establish their nesting territories after the hours of darkness.
We'll explore Stackpole's rich bird habitats, from lakeside woodlands to open grassland and scrub, reedbed and sand dunes.
You'll learn the bird songs and a few useful ways to remember which is which. All our resident birds and some of our summer visitors will be well into the nesting season by late April, and the latecomers will be in full song by 20 May.
The cost of this event is £8 and will include a breakfast roll and hot drink. The walk will start from the Stackpole Centre car park and remember to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Booking is essential for this event - 01646 661425.
