May, A Busy Month for Walking Festivals and More

May 's a very busy month in the Offa's corridor.

The May Day Bank holiday weekend starts with Bishope Castle Walking Festival , The Llangollen ( Friendly ) Walking Festival ( check out the Folk Storyteling evening with local food and drink) and the Knighton walking weeknd, all these will have a little bit of Offa's Dyke Path on Offa. And for something different the Clun Green Man Festival is also on over the weekend.

9th May there's the Bishops Castle Round and About charity walk.

 Head right to the north between 15th to 17th May for the Presatyn Walking Festival and see what the Clwydian Range has on offer.

 For those interested in a challenge theres the 13th Clun Valley Challenge, pick from either 26 or 16 miles.

21st May sees the start of the hay Festival running to the 31st May.

And for another great challenge theres the 2nd Llangollen Round , 35 miles in the  Dee Valley /Clwydian Range AONB

And to round off May head to the Leominster Festival
