Towering hillsides on Offa's Dyke Path

Chepstow Walking Festival

23 Apr 2017

digwyddiad cerdded

Chepstow Walking Festival has become firmly established on the walker’s calendar and each year brings something new to those who live locally or are visitors to the area. By collaborating with local organisations or specialists in their field such as agriculture, conservation, or heritage each walk offers a completely different walking experience. Join wildlife officers from Gloucestershire and Gwent Wildlife Trusts or the Curator of Chepstow Museum who will lead a walk in the footsteps of Samuel Taylor Coleridge retracing his steps when he visited Chepstow and walked to Tintern in 1795. Visit hillforts, local icecream makers,  an orgagnic farm or get up early and listen to a dawn chorus or stay up late and venture out on a night walk.  You are spolit for choice, we can hardly wait!

There's also Free transport and parking at Chepstow where applicable.
