Vintage Glyndŵr’s way signs for sale!

20th April 2016

So what happens to the Glyndŵr’s Way finger posts that have done their job and are being retired? The answer is that they keep on working.

We are now selling the fingers from the posts to help fund the Trail.

The fingerposts are very well made and it isn’t always an easy job to remove the fingers from the post upright. They need to be drilled, chain-sawed and chiselled to prise them apart.

They are all made of untreated oak and often have fine knot details and lovely lichen growth on the faces.

If you have walked the Trail and would like a memento of your adventure have a look at the National Trails shop.
