Stolen Clywedog fingerposts replaced

26th April 2016

Walkers in the Clywedog dam area can be certain that they won’t lose their way now that four stolen fingerposts have been replaced.

All the posts were taken from roadside sites in the same area and must have taken some effort to remove. However four new custom-made posts are now in situ and will hopefully have a long and useful life.

If you have never visited the area why not make a day trip to enjoy the fine scenery above and around the reservoir. Make sure you visit the site of Bryntail mine too. It is situated at the very foot of the dam and makes a spectacular place to take a picnic on a sunny day. There is parking close by and the short trail to the mine is easy access.
