Fingerposts stolen from the Clywedog dam area.

22nd December 2015

Four fingerposts on Glyndŵr’s Way have been stolen in the area of Clywedog Dam and Bryntail Lead Mine near Llanidloes.

They were installed in the spring and last seen by the Trail Officer on an area survey in October.

All the National Trail fingerposts are made to order for each site as each finger needs to be at a particular angle and has different information on it.  They are made from oak for durability and attractiveness.

The photo shows one of the posts in situ near Clywedog dam before it was stolen.

Anyone with information can call Dyfed Powys Police on 101 and quote the crime number DMO/0546/23/11/2015/01/C.
