Poetry Points appear on the Yorkshire Wolds Way18th January 2017
Poetry Points have appeared at benches along the Yorkshire Wolds Way. Each point contains a plastic box with a notepad and pencil. Walkers are being invited to jot down their own poems to describe their inspiration at that place on the trail.
There are 8 Poetry Points, which can be found on a bench in the areas of Welton, Brantingham, South Cave, Goodmanham, Millington, Huggate, East Heslerton and Flixton.
The best poems received will go on to form part of our hi tech Secret Art Project. Using an app walkers will be able to hear the poetry on their mobile phones when they reach the same locations on the trail.
