Join us for a great walk on the Yorkshire Wolds Way

31st March 2017

We still have places for our great walks on the Yorkshire Wolds Way as part of the "Spring into the Wolds" Campaign. The first of our three organised walks is a chance to "Discover art along the Yorkshire Wolds Way"
Our walk is from Huggate to Thixendale along some of the classic parts of the trail for 6 1/2 miles.
You will see some of the great WANDER artworks that were inspired by the Yorkshire Wolds. You will also get a chance to pilot our new virtual "Secret Art" project a few days before its official launch. Using smartphones we can pop virtual bubbles to reveal artwork and poetry inspired by the Wolds. It's great fun!
We finish with late lunch and a drink at the classic walker's pub - The Cross Keys in Thixendale (Please bring money for this)
The event only costs £5 and that includes the minibus. It is all bookable through Eventbite, and places are numbered because we can only take a minibus full. It will be a great day out! Visit the Yorkshire Wolds Way event page for more details.

You could also spend a couple of days on the Yorkshire Wolds by staying over the night before at some of our superb accommodation providers and enjoying the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust "Secrets of Skerne" event on the previous day.
