Up To Date Flooding Information2nd February 2017
We rely on the quarterly reports of our Volunteer monitors and user feedback along the route for details of recent surface conditions along the Trail.
As the weather, the state of the Thames, water levels and the impact of flooding on the Trail changes on a daily basis, we are unfortunately unable to give an up to date report on the condition along the whole 184 miles length on a daily or weekly basis.
Due to current rainfall as at 2nd FEBRUARY 2017, water levels along the Thames are high, especially in the upper reaches. For flooding updates please log onto The Government Flood Information Service
Should you encounter a flooding event along the trail, please do not attempt to walk through flood water at all as the river bank may not be where you think it might be and the depth of water will be difficult to assess.
